These terms are between you and Sami Ghourabi and Karim Younsi, carrying on business as Cuatro in Ontario, Canada ("Cuatro", "we", "us"). By ticking the consent box when you sign up, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These terms are published in English only. A French version is not yet available.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must use your real name — other players are deciding whether to meet you in person, and that decision depends on knowing who you are.
One account per person.
Cuatro introduces padel players to each other and helps them agree on a game. That is the whole of it. Being precise about the boundary matters, because everything in section 8 follows from it:
Cuatro is an introduction service. Everything that happens once you meet is between you and the people you meet.
You sign in with a link or a code sent to your email address. Anyone with access to that inbox can get into your account, so keep it secure. Tell us promptly at support@cuatro.ca if you think someone else has used your account.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. That means content or conduct that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, or that targets someone on the basis of who they are. It applies everywhere you can write in Cuatro — game chat, the details you send with a report, the venues you submit, and your profile name.
We filter chat messages and venue submissions for this material before they are posted, and we remove what gets through. The filter is not the limit of the rule: content can break this section without matching anything a filter looks for, and it will still be removed.
After a game you may rate the people you played with. Ratings and reliability records feed the matchmaking engine and are never shown to anybody — not to the person rated, not to the person rating, not to anyone else. This is deliberate: it is what makes an honest rating safe to give.
Because these signals shape who you are matched with, poor reliability or persistently poor ratings can mean you are offered fewer games. That is the system working as intended, not a penalty being applied to you.
We decide who to suggest to whom. We do not guarantee that you will be matched, that a game will form, that it will fill, or that anyone will turn up.
Any player can report another, and can report a specific message. Reports are reviewed by us at support@cuatro.ca. The player reported is not told who reported them, and the reporter is not told the outcome — both protect the person who spoke up.
We review every report within 24 hours. Where we find content or behaviour that breaks section 5, we remove the content and we suspend or permanently remove the account responsible. This is not discretionary: objectionable content does not stay up while we think about it.
Beyond that, we may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove any account that breaks these terms, without notice where the circumstances warrant it.
You can also block any player. A block is absolute and silent — the person blocked is never told, and the two of you will never be put in the same game again.
Read this section. It is the one that matters most.
Padel is a physical sport, and it carries a real risk of injury. You may be injured — by the sport itself, by a court's condition, by equipment, by another player's conduct, or by an accident. You accept that risk yourself.
You are meeting strangers. Cuatro does not screen or verify anybody. Use the judgement you would use meeting anyone you met online: meet at a public venue, tell someone where you are going, and stop if you are uncomfortable. Block and report anybody who behaves badly.
You are responsible for your own health and fitness, and for deciding that you are fit to play. If you are unsure, ask a doctor, not us.
To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Cuatro from any claim arising out of a game arranged through Cuatro — including injury, property damage, loss, or the conduct of another player — and you accept that we owe you no duty to screen, supervise, or ensure the safety of anyone or anything involved.
Booking a court, paying for it, and honouring the venue's own rules are yours to deal with. Cuatro does not hold a booking, guarantee availability, or reimburse a fee. Venue information in the app — hours, pricing, surface, availability — is provided for convenience and may be wrong or out of date; check with the venue.
If a game is cancelled and a court has been paid for, that is between the players and the venue. Cuatro is not part of it.
Messages, ratings, reports, and profile information stay yours. You give us permission to store, display, and process them as needed to run the service — for example, to show your message to the three other people in your game.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights, or anything that breaks section 5. We remove content that does. Chat messages and venue submissions are filtered before they post, and anything reported to us is reviewed within 24 hours — but we do not read every conversation, and we rely on you to report what the filter misses.
If you believe something in Cuatro infringes your copyright or another right you hold, write to support@cuatro.ca with enough detail to identify it, and we will review it on the same 24-hour footing as any other report.
Chat messages cannot be edited or deleted once sent. When you delete your account, the content of your messages is destroyed and a marker is left in its place — see the Privacy policy for exactly what that does.
The Cuatro app, its name, design, and the matchmaking system behind it belong to us. You may use the app; you may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing service from it.
We build carefully, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular moment. To the fullest extent the law allows, Cuatro is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including this whole app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuatro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, or opportunity, arising out of your use of Cuatro.
Our total liability to you, for any and all claims, is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which for this version of the service is nothing — or 100 Canadian dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. Where that is so, these limits apply to the maximum extent that jurisdiction permits, and nothing here removes a right you cannot legally give up — including your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, such as Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
You agree to indemnify Cuatro against any claim brought by a third party arising out of your use of Cuatro, your conduct at a game, or your breach of these terms.
You may leave at any time by deleting your account in the app. It is immediate and permanent.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you break these terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if we stop operating the service.
Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
We may update these terms. Where a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cuatro after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
